The Boat Data Boook'The Boat Data Book' is a fantastic little reference book stuffed full of specifications for Anchors, Winches, Deck Fittings, Cabin Interiors, Shackles, Fastenings, Rigging, Steering and Ventilation.  It also has some very hand conversion tables, and above all, is written by someone who has been desiging yachts to great acclaim for most of his working life.

Ian Nicolson is a senior partner with A Mylne & Co, and is well known as a classic yacht designer.  He has put together a handy reference book for anyone wanting to check on the specification of a  propellor to make the most of their engine, or what size of anchor chain to buy, or what tools to take with you on board, or in fact just about anything to do with yacht or boat data - even down to the clearing space needed for hanging your oilies.

The success of this little book is reflected in the fact thatit is now in it's sixth edition.  If you are thinking of re-fitting, or simply need to know where to go to find the load limits on your wooden mast or spar, here's the book!
