Boat Show LogoThe busiest event in the capital’s boating calendar, the Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show, will host over 70 new product launches, including 18 global debuts, when it opens its doors at ExCeL, London from Friday 8 – Sunday 17 January.

A diverse collection of more than 400 exhibitors will showcase products ranging from sailing and motor boats to marine equipment, chandlery and clothing with first showings of brand new products emerging from most sectors.

Andrew Williams, Managing Director of National Boat Shows, comments: ‘We’re delighted that so many of our exhibitors have chosen the Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show to officially unveil new products. This pays testament to our exhibitors’ opinion of the high profile of the Show, and with 18 world launches planned, we’re in for an exciting 10 days.’

A selection of the new products to be launched at the Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show include:

Power and sail boats
•    Fairline’s world launch of the Fairline Targo 50 Gran Turismo
•    Princess Yachts’ world launch of 72 Motor Yacht
•    Sunseeker International’s world launch of the Portofino 48 and the Predator 108 Special Edition
•    Discovery Yachts will host the global launch of the Discovery 50 Cat
•    Barnet Marine will be showcasing its new XS 900 Police Patrol Boat
•    Hanse Yachts will debut its Hanse 375 sailing cruiser on the all new Sail Boat Board Walk attraction

Engines, electronics, deck equipment and chandlery
•    Johnson Outdoors will launch the new Geonav
•    C A Clase will debut its Infinity PRO display screens
•    Scanstruct is launching four products at the Show including deck seals, carbon pole mount, carbon mast pod and a camera power mount
•    TCS Chandlery Ltd is debuting its Jabsco Lite flush electric toilet  

Clothing and accessorises
•    Henri Lloyd will be exhibiting its full 2010 marine technical range at the Show. Among the new products on display will be the award-winning Blue Eco jacket and Hi-fits and the new Henri Lloyd Ocean Pro Range
•    Azure Wear UK  will globally launch its sailing gloves and wind blocker mitts
•    Gill will launch its new OS1 offshore jacket and trousers
•    Crewsaver will launch the new Crewfit 190N Lifejackets


Planning your day at the Show
As well as new product launches, this year’s Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show offers attractions for all, including -
•    An explosive dance and fashion show, ‘Rock the Boat,’ performed daily by graduates of the Brian Rogers Dance School on The Show Stage powered by Fairline
•    Visitors can hear inspirational stories from ‘Boating Heroes’ such as Geoff Holt and Hilary Lister, record breaking rower Sarah Outen, youngest ever round-the-world sailor Mike Perham and P1 Powerboat Champion Shelley Jory
•    The ever popular interactive Deck Games zone, featuring an indoor pool for visitors to try their hand at model yacht racing, rowing and kayaking and more
•    The new Yamaha Power Boat and RIB Marina featuring over 30 of the very best outboard and stern drive powered boats, the single largest collection of small power craft ever seen on one stand at the Show!
•    Exciting on-water activity over the weekends on the Royal Victoria Dock outside the South Hall of ExCeL.  The action starts from 12 noon on Saturday 16 January with the Ovington Skiff Grand Prix, including the RYA junior catamaran squad, with the climax commencing on Sunday 17 with British Sailing: Battle of the Classes Pursuits Race
•    The South Hall will host a stunning photographic exhibition, Skandia Blown Away, featuring pictures of Britain’s Olympic sailors taken by renowned photographer Robert Wilson
•    New to the Show this year is a fantastic inland waterways feature, Discover Inland Waterways: Brought to you by River Thames. Positioned in the South Hall, visitors will find all the information they need to make the most of Britain’s rivers and canals.  A traditional narrow boat and an impressive river cruiser will also be on display
•    Classic Boat in association with International Paint and Old Pulteney, which will recreate the atmosphere of a working boat yard
•    Boats ranging in size from canoes to luxury power boats priced from £500 to £10million
•    For those visitors who have been following the Boating on a Budget diary pages of the Show’s website, the 36 year old Hunter 19 ‘Barangoola’ will be on display.  Raising funds for RNLI Burnham-on-Crouch through a £5 per ticket raffle to win her; ‘Barangoola’ demonstrates just how affordable boating can be as she will be transformed into a shiny good-as-new cruiser by loving volunteers in the run up to the Show for just £5,000.

The Show is excellent value for money when it comes to a great day out in the capital as kids aged 15 and under go free, with each ticket admitting one adult and two children.
